Rochester Township, PA

At the August 3rd meeting, the Rochester Township Board of Commissioners voted to join the Beaver Valley Regional Police Department. The Board has been considering regionalization for quite some time and they feel this is in the best interest of the community. The decision will have multiple benefits for the community and it will also be safer for the officers by allowing there to be multiple officers on duty each shift. The expected regionalization date is September 1, 2023. Our current full-time officers will be full-time with the Beaver Valley Regional Police Department.

J Young Refuse was awarded a 3 year contract from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2026 - 
All Residents are billed quarterly, in the amount of $48.87 for the 3 year contract
Any resident that wishes to make an annual payment is entitled to a 10% discount, making the cost for the year $175.93. (If received by May 15 of each year).
